| FRASER EDWARDS STANDARD SPECIFICATION 15-0 F.T. PETRO MAT OVERLAY WITH FIBRE-TUFF REINFORCEMENT SYSTEM FULL ACRYLIC FINISH SYSTEM Revised July 1997 1. SCOPE The work includes the necessary repairs, resurfacing, application of color finish, line painting, and other related work as specified. Contractor must be a licensed applicator as approved by manufacturer. 2. PREPARATION The contractor shall remove all loose asphalt or cement mortar patches. Any roots thus exposed or any roots causing cracks in the existing surfaces shall be completely removed. The contractor shall patch all areas described about with Carpet Coat mixture. 3. DELUXE NET POSTS AND NETS (if required) Net posts shall be fabricated from 3î square, heavy duty hollow steel. The reel shall be internal worm gear wind and shall be made of brass. FE #1. Nets shall be #TN-30. The posts will be set in ground sockets 24î long, 3' square and shall be embedded in concrete 14î in diameter with 30î deep and set into sleeves and shall be on a bolt through the sleeves at the 18î depth. 4. NET POST MODIFICATION (if required) Modify all net posts to make net 42î above court surface. 5. NET TIE DOWNS Anchors for net center strap tie-down shall be 1 5/8î pipe, 9î long with the bottom 2î flattened together and a 1/4î pin centered in the top. The anchor shall be set in concrete 6î x 6î x 12î in depth. 6. FENCE ADJUSTMENTS The re-erection of all fencing removed to provide access for equipment, and/or fencing adjusted for clearance as required, shall conform to the standards of the trade.
